Community Funding Opportunities

Community Bank Neerim District Grant applications are opening at 9:00am on Monday 1 September 2025.

Now is the time to sit down with a cuppa and consider all the things your community organisation wants to achieve over the next 12 months. Community grants can support a range of projects and initiatives that will make a positive impact on the Neerim District community. Any community, sporting or not-for-profit organisation that is either located in or serves the Neerim District can apply for a community grant.

Applications can be for improved infrastructure, facilities or equipment that serve the community, and support for services, culture, or sport that will help provide improved longer-term community engagement.

But have you also considered how a grant could help support your regular operating expenses?

Volunteer and not-for-profit organisations can apply for a grant to set them up for success over an extended period of time. For example, you may incur regular travel expenses to pick up or deliver resources to community members. Or perhaps you help those in need have a merrier Christmas each year. Every dollar counts and it may be worthwhile pulling out the old pen and paper to see where and when throughout the year you are using funds to have the biggest impact on the community.

The Community Bank Neerim District also sponsors events and organisations to provide support to community initiatives in return for brand recognition. Sponsorships of up to $2,000 are available all year round.

For our younger community members, the Beth Delzoppo Scholarship Program and Bill Cumming Young Achiever Award are available to assist with higher education, personal, and professional development. These opportunities provide monetary support to the recipient for up to three years.
