Meet our panel speakers

Krystal Barr - Manager Economic Development and Visitor Economy, Baw Baw Shire Council

Krystal Barr has been the Economic Development and Visitor Economy Manager at Baw Baw Shire Council since 2024. Prior to this she was responsible for leading the Noojee Forestry Transition Project.

Adam Sheehan - Business owner, Retail & Tourism

Adam Sheehan runs the family owned and operated Five Aces Brewery in Neerim South. He is a current member of the Neerim District Progress Association and a Councillor for the Baw Baw Shire’s East Ward.

David Johnston - Business owner, Agribusiness

David Johnson is a dairy farmer who was born and bred in Neerim South. He is the former Owner /Director of Tarago River Cheese.

With the current growth of the Baw Baw Shire, the opportunity for business growth in the Neerim District has never been so strong.

Our panel will explore the questions:

  • What is the opportunity for our District?

  • What do those in the District need to do to realise the opportunity?
